Finding The Right Words Ep. 15: EDUCATION

What are you going to do with what you know? 🇵🇸

TRIGGER WARNING: I’m going to be talking about war, death, genocide, the Holocaust, Palestine, antisemitism, Zionism, and the US government. If any of these topics may make you feel uncomfortable, feel free to skip this episode. I won’t be mad at you! You’re not in trouble. I promise.

In today’s episode, Jolie is talking about how in school and in life, we’re taught about right and wrong and good and evil. But what do we do with that knowledge when faced with evil in the world? Today, we’re talking about the genocides in Palestine and the Congo and what it means to be on the right side of history.

You’re invited to journal and think critically with the following prompts:

📝 Answer the question: What am I doing to make this world a better place, a place that I want to live in?

📝 What’s your favorite book or piece of media or person that taught you about the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, just and unjust? Where did you get your education from?

Finally, a note to take care of yourself and each other. Create a better, more caring world. It starts with you.
