Welcome back for a new episode of Finding the Right Words where I’m taking you on a journey back in time to discover how I got started journaling and writing. We’re talking about depression, grief, career, and creativity and we’re challenging ourselves to begin the journaling journey.
Your writing challenge:
📝 How are you feeling? Using as many words as you can, write as long as you can describe how you’re feeling. Happy? Sad? Anxious? Hungry? Bored? Write them all!
📝 For each feeling you write, answer the following questions: Why am I feeling this way? How long have I felt this way? Do I want to keep feeling this way, why or why not?
These writing exercises should help you see yourself and your emotions with more clarity and compassion.
If you’re interested in learning more about journaling and you want practice your own writing, sign up for my 6-week journaling workshop, Finding the Right Words About LOVE, hosted by Not Sorry Productions. Registration is open now and class starts March 5. Sign up here. See you there!
