This! All of this!!

As an avid journal writer since the age of 13 and I'm in my late 30's, this post resonated with me to my core. And the fact that you mentioned one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows EVER - As Told By Ginger - sold me. I still have every journal I've written in. I love going back and reading those younger ones. Lol.

My journal routine is as follows: I write in the mornings and at night. The morning are mostly intentions for the day, 3 things I'm grateful for at that very moment and what not. Night time journaling is mostly about my day, what was accomplished. What bothered me, if anything. 5 things I'm grateful for at that very moment. I even journal day of therapy session and next day, if the session was a hard one.

As a teen I'd start each entry with "Dear Diary" but as I got older, I've leaned in by putting the time I was writing. Date and time is my go to now. I do sign off with "Until Next Time" with EVERY entry now as an adult.

From one journal writer to the next, thank you for this. May your entries be filled with whatever is resonating with you at that very moment! Embrace the messiness!!
