I love the different topics for exploration around The Wait. For me, there's the wait=procrastination issue behind the question "What are you waiting for?". But conversely "In what ways could you slow down and take your time?" brings to mind the things I'm in a hurry for. I think these journaling prompts are just what I needed for October. Thank you for sharing them!
omg thank you for reading and I’m so glad the prompts are inspiring some thought and inner exploration in you! I look forward to reading what you come up with. Wishing you lots of peace and success for whatever you’re waiting for!
True! it was weighing heavy on me, I’m looking forward to unpacking and hopefully getting inspired by how others unload. Good luck with your introspection! 🖤
I really love the question about nature. It’s so easy to forget we are the Earth too! And what makes me stay motivated to wait??? It almost sounds like contradictory language, but I love how this is worded. Will definitely journal on that one 🙏🏾
thank you! that was my favorite prompt and I almost left it out, haha! thank you for the confirmation and the interpretation. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
I already journaled on it. It’s actually so connected to the first question. I wrote about how I am the Earth and what motivates me is to be someone who is Earthly and not extract from myself by pushing myself to have a timing for something that isn’t ready yet.
that is beautiful! I receive that sentiment as being the Earth is recognizing my responsibilities to the Earth, or to myself. What a beautiful thought experiment, thank you, Nisha! 💜
"Hey, it’s such a coincidence that I stumbled upon your post! I just finished writing my own gratitude letter, and the feeling of liberation was amazing. I also really enjoyed reading your piece—it’s inspiring how you’ve managed to let go of shame and focus on the process rather than waiting. The part where you said, ‘But the real challenge for me is to stop writing about my pain and instead focus on hope—hope for what’s beyond the tough days and for brighter ones ahead,’ really moved me. Keep up the great work, and sending you lots of blessings on your journey!"
thank you much for reading and for the encouragement! I so appreciate that my inner work can inspire inner work in someone else. Thanks so much for being part of this journey! 💜

Well … we’ll see if I come up with anything worth sharing. :-D Thank you for the positive wishes!
To wait is such a loaded sentiment. Thanks for the journal prompts. Think I shall do some introspective digging this month.
