I loved this piece ,including the journal prompts, so much! Thanks so much for sharing! I was just thinking about how I would feel if I looked back on my life if this was the end. Being my most authentic self, living out my dreams, while also being patient for the things that haven’t happened yet has been a huge part of my life’s journey the past few years.
“being patient for the things that haven’t happened yet” is the subtitle for this chapter of my life, haha! But journaling is really helping me. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you feel inspired to write to one or more of the prompts! I’d love to see what you come up with! 💜
OhEmGee, I've been fixated on death in such a different way lately. Having had a few associates my age pass recently, my mortality has been front row center in my mind. I've also been grateful for the opportunity to age. Being depression free (for now) I can now appreciate the possibility of growing old instead of dreading it.
I love that quote from adrienne you mentioned "“Look back at your life from the perspective of your death and that will always help you figure out how you want to spend your energy.”
I journal about what my future self would be glad I did that day, and this just adds to it!
Love this! 🤎 I will be using your prompts for journaling. And I LOVE ATWC too!!!!!
