Her & Toni are who inspired me to write. You know, the color purple is traumatizing for me, I think I watched it to early as a kid. I am now going to revisit it. And I'm not even gonna front, The Color Purple film was traumatizing for me in some ways too (like I said, was intro'd to it wayyy too young!) But as an adult, I'm able to take in the messages little me wasn't meant to understand. And I'm able to see more clearly things that grown me still isn't down with. I'm still learning!
